My name is Maya Dy, and I am currently a senior at Savannah College of Art and Design!

I'm a Chinese-American illustrator and comic artist who specializes in the scrolling format. ​As a comic artist, my stories focus on strong female characters through a multitude of genres. I seek to share my stories with the world to inspire audiences with my emotional storylines.

What's up with the rice?
My username, "white_r_i_c_e_" originates from a joke my mom likes to make. Since my brother and I are half-Chinese and half-white, she would joke that my brother and I were "white rice." Since that name is pretty much taken everywhere, I decided to separate the word "rice" like they were each little grains of rice. It's kind of a fun origin story!
